Who is Abdul Kumshey

Abdul Kumshey is a Saudi technology entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Ailoo — the first zero-commission ride-hailing and daily-commute platform in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, Abdul Kumshey founded Ailoo in 2025 after witnessing how ride platforms exploited both drivers and riders. He built a fairer model — drivers keep 100% of every fare, riders pay flat prices with no surge — and launched the Kingdom's first regulated daily-commute subscription. Ailoo is incubated at Monsha'at Innovation Center and aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

The journey of Abdul Kumshey

2023Founded Haqiq

Built an AI-powered news application — learning that great products are built to be useful, not clever.

2024Saw the problem

Cancelled rides still charged to his card. Drivers losing 30% per fare. 100,000+ informal WhatsApp commutes a month with no protection.

2025Launched Ailoo in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia’s first 0% commission platform and first formal daily-commute system. Drivers keep 100% of every fare.

2025–26Scaling across the Kingdom

Incubated at Monsha’at, aligned with Vision 2030, expanding to 12+ Saudi cities.

Why Abdul Kumshey founded Ailoo

Abdul Kumshey didn't start Ailoo from a sleek office or an academic study. He started it from a moment of real, simple anger. He was using a major ride-hailing platform in Riyadh. The driver arrived, cancelled the trip himself — and the platform charged his card anyway.

“I lost the ride. I lost the money. And there was no one accountable.”

— Abdul Kumshey, Founder of Ailoo

It was a pattern, not an incident: drivers losing 30% of every fare, riders paying double at peak hours, no accountability. And every morning on Riyadh's streets, 100,000+ daily-commute rides ran informally through WhatsApp — no contracts, no insurance, illegal drivers vanishing after a month. Two problems, one root cause. In 2025, Abdul Kumshey launched Ailoo to fix both.

The philosophy of Abdul Kumshey

Abdul Kumshey believes most tech companies ask the wrong question: how do we earn more, raise prices, bury fees in fine print? Ailoo asked something entirely different.

“
“Instead of asking how do we earn more — I asked: how do we build something worth building?”

— Abdul Kumshey, Founder & CEO of Ailoo

He believes technology should empower people, not exploit them; that great design disappears; and that a real product works exactly when people need it — without complexity, without surprises. That philosophy shapes every Ailoo decision, from app design to how a driver is treated on day one.

What Abdul Kumshey built — Ailoo

Ailoo — from the Najdi word for 'now' — runs on two parallel innovations: a platform that charges drivers zero commission (100% of every fare, every ride), and Saudi Arabia's first formal daily-commute system converting the informal WhatsApp market into regulated, insured subscriptions.

01

Taxi — 0% commission, forever

Drivers keep 100% of every fare. Not a promotion — it's the model.

02

Daily commute — first formal system

Converts 100,000+ informal monthly rides into safe, regulated subscriptions.

03

Proprietary AI routing

Custom matching algorithm. Less waiting, more earning, better experience.

04

Flat fares — no surge, ever

Fares are shown before booking and don't change, under any condition.
